Carpe Diem - Live Like It’s Your Last Day
April 3rd, 2006 by djseven2004My Grandma Muggs passed away last Monday night. It is a sad fact that she has left this Earth..but her laughter and smile will ripple on through the generations of kids and grandkids. I will always remember learning to ski with her at Alta and Park City in Utah, waking up to her coffee, bacon and egg breakfasts on a ski day, playing ping pong and putting golf balls in her basement, going to dinner at her favorite Italian restaurant, and having good laughs along the way. She taught me so much..to love life be polite and smile often, to put others first, to stay active and healthy, and to keep on moving through life taking the bumps in the road in stride. When someone close passes away it makes us realize more so than ever, that life is fleeting and each day is important. You just never know when your time is up, so I say let’s make each day mean something. Inspired by the life of Grandma Muggs, I plan to be more present to life, reach for my dreams, and make a difference in the lives of the people I love.
